Welcome to the Lurleen B. Wallace Community College Canvas Information page. LBWCC migrated to a new learning management system Spring 2013 called Canvas. The Canvas LMS uses all web based content. LBWCC made this change believing that Canvas would be more user friendly and the updated features would be more beneficial for faculty and students.
This page will guide you through all of the necessary information needed before beginning any distance education course.
Canvas is the learning management system used for distance learning courses at Lurleen B. Wallace Community College. The primary reason for having this site is to inform the student of the Canvas platform, and provide valuable information about the product as well as the technical information you will need to see that your computer system is capable of running Canvas. Please review the links below. Make sure that your system is compatible with the information in the links provided below. If not, you may need to update some of your programs or possibly install new programs not currently loaded on your computer. Once you have reviewed the links below and made the necessary changes you should be ready to begin any distance education course at LBWCC.

Please open and print the document Proctor Guidelines before opening either of the forms below. This document explains the guidelines for obtaining acceptable proctors.
